New York’s leading wine publication named Boutari 3rd best among the Top 100 Wineries of the Year for the 17th time in a row.

Every year, Wine & Spirits publishes its Annual Restaurant Poll, where a large number of restaurant wine specialists, from sommeliers to wine buyers, evaluate wines with the best performance per label, variety and country of origin.

Through a procedure of blind tasting of more than 10.000 wines by the magazine’s panels & critics, current vintages of Boutari’s wines succeeded in scoring at the top in their categories. Therefore, Boutari Winery is placed among the top 5 best wineries in the world and is included in the magazine’s Hall of Fame.

Wine & Spirits Hall of Fame
1st place: Penfolds (Australia), honored 23 times
2nd place: Chateau Ste. Michelle (USA) and Concha y Toro (Chile), both honored 19 times
3rd place: Boutari Winery (Greece) and Shafer Winery (USA), both honored 17 times

The Wine & Spirits award ceremony will take place in San Francisco, California, in late October.
