AirPano is a Russian based group of photo enthusiasts dedicated to creating World Class hi-resolution aerial panoramas.  AirPano’s latest project includes the Acropolis of Athens, the “cradle of civilization”.  They have also done the City of Athens and the Island of Santorini which may be seen below.  By mean of a helicopter, light jets, dirigibles, hot air balloons, and radio-controlled helicopters they are able to make it all possible.  Thanks to their dedicated work you may now enjoy the ancient city of Athens, the Parthenon and the island of Santorini from a bird’s eye view!
